Marc Jacobs pioneering

I'm sooo excited about the last Marc Jacobs collections!!!  It's just about shape of things to come. This man doesn't play safe! When others keep on creating edgy fierce looks ("power woman" of our time with killer shoes, tight dresses, skinny pants, rivited leather...) he brings out calm and simple self-confidence to the runway.
Of course, nude make-up, dishevelled hair, big fur and cozy sweaters are no surprise.

But long skirts!!

Total pale looks with no striking details!

Low heels!

Long jackets!

Absolute baggyness!

It's just so different from what we're used to see now!
Marc Jacobs have tried to provide quite resembling ideas before. Let's just remember his F/W 07 ascetic elegant collection with long lean skirts and dresses

That year it was in half of editorials styled in different ways. But the idea didn't come to masses.

This time Marc is more persistent. He keeps on dealing with this idea since last S/S 10 season after he had literally said final "Bye!" to 80ies aethetic in F/W 09.

In S/S10 he unexpectedly came out with long skirts, long jackets, romantic mood and it seems he's not going to give up this theme.

Plus he's supported by others  like

Chloe S/S10

Marni S/S10

Marios Schwab S/S10

I'm really interested where it all is going to...

P.S. This yellow shade and collour combination are absolutely wonderful

They remind me of Dries van Notten F/W09  palette I'm still obsessed with
